Keep in mind, though, that they are volatile. If you’re in the market for a house, make sure you watch rates as much as you watch home prices. The difference of a week in interest rate fluctuations can, in some cases, have a bigger impact on your monthly mortgage than even the toughest negotiation outcomes.
